UNIFORM POLICY

Uniform Tops: White oxford button-down shirts (short or long sleeve)
  White or navy polo-style knit shirts (short or long sleeve)
  White t-shirt or white turtleneck may be worn underneath the above
  Girls may wear white middy blouses with plaid ties.
  White blouses with Peter Pan collars for girls
 
Uniform Bottoms: Khaki pants, jumpers, shorts and skorts, belt loops are not to be removed from clothing.  Belts must be worn if the clothing has belt loops and fit into the entire belt loop and remained buckled.  No part of the belt may be left hanging.
  Pants must be uniform-style slacks-no cargo pants, Capri pants, Dickies work clothes, overalls, jean-style pants, bell-bottoms, flares, etc.
  The length must follow the Caddo Parish policy.
  Only medium to dark shades of khaki will be acceptable; light sand or off-white will not be permitted.
  Approved blue plaid (#134-57) pleated skirts for girls.  This plaid can be found at Sports World and Shreveport Gymnastics.
 
Spirit Days: Every Friday will be considered Spirit Day.  All students may wear a Fairfield t-shirt with khaki uniform bottoms.  Blue jeans are no longer permitted.  Acceptable Fairfield t-shirts are any of the following - the navy Fairfield shirt, the navy bulldog shirt, the 2004 field day shirt (white).
 
Dress Code: Students and their clothing should be neat, clean and well groomed and must meet the following guidelines as outlined by the Caddo Parish School Board.
  Shoes must be worn at all times.  No rubber ?flip-flops, platform shoes, roller blades or cleats; shoes & sandals must have a back strap.  This is a safety concern.  Socks are required with all shoes.
  Headwear, sunglasses, hoop earrings, wallet chains, hair rollers, make-up, fake fingernails and tattoos are prohibited.
  Only middy blouses designed to be worn outside skirts shall be worn in that manner.  Belts are required if clothing with belt loops is worn.
  Pants, shorts, skorts or skirts must be worn at the waist.  No ?sagging? is permitted.  No clothing may be worn shorter than 4 inches above the knees.
  Label all possessions (including clothing) so that lost items may be returned.  The school is not responsible for lost or damaged of lost items.
   If a child feels chilled in the classroom he/she may wear a navy sweater, navy sweatshirt or windbreaker (either solid navy or a the official spirit wear).  Other outerwear is permitted but must remain in the child's locker during school hours.
